Ý nghĩa: Little và A little trong tiếng Anh là 2 lượng từ, được sử dụng trong một câu với mục đích đó là làm rõ ý nghĩa về mặt số lượng.
- Litle: vô cùng ít ỏi, không đủ để sử dụng (từ này có khuynh hướng phủ định). Ví dụ: Could I try a little banana smoothie?
- A little: ít những vẫn có một ít, đủ để làm gì đó. Ví dụ: My grandfather has little cash, not enough to buy any train ticket.

Sau đây là một số lưu ý bạn cần biết:
- Sau lượng từ few và a few đều là các N đếm được số nhiều.
- Sau lượng từ little và a little là N không đếm được.
- 2 lượng từ Little và few đều mang ý nghĩa là không đủ/ hầu như không có, dùng trong trường hợp mang ý nghĩa tiêu cực.
- 2 lượng từ A little và A few đều mang ý nghĩa là có một chút, đủ để sử dụng và được dùng với hàm ý tích cực hơn so với Little và few.
